At Winston’s Doggy Daycare, we believe every dog deserves more than just care—they deserve a school-like environment where they can learn, play, and thrive.

We created Edinburgh’s first central doggy daycare with a structured, school-style routine because we couldn’t find anywhere that provided the standard of care we wanted for our own dog. Our mission is to give owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are not only safe, but engaged, socialised, and cared for as individuals.

From morning drop-offs to afternoon pick-ups, every day is designed around fun, enrichment, and well-being. Whether it’s playtime, rest, or learning good manners, your dog will enjoy a balanced day full of love, attention, and adventure.

Meet our Manager, Sasha!

“Hello dog-lovers! My name is Sasha, I’m the manager here at Winston’s Doggy Daycare. I joined the company in September 2024 and it has been an absolute privilege to get to know and care for the wonderful dogs that visit us, as well as working alongside some of the loveliest people in the world.

I have always been passionate about working with dogs. Growing up in the highlands with a big boisterous boxer name George and the sweetest labrador named Staffy, I would dream of one day working in the animal care industry. It didn’t matter what I was doing, I just knew it would be with these amazing animals.

Starting out as a dog trainer during lockdown I helped lots of first-time dog owners get to know and understand their pups a little better and find ways to view their world from their perspective. I am CPD certified in Pet Psychology and have SQA accredited certification in Dog First Aid, I hope to continue furthering my education throughout my career at Winston’s.

I’d just like to say thank you for choosing us with the care of your furry friends, it is the most rewarding job in the world.”

How it Works



Book A Trial

To ensure a dog is socially suitable for our day care centre, we offer a free trial, subject to registration and acceptance. At the trial, a behaviour check is conducted for all new dogs to make sure they fit in and can enjoy the experience.



Meet The Others

Throughout the trial session, dogs are encouraged to meet and mingle with other dogs. This provides them with stimulation and a fun environment to spend the day.



Trial Sessions

To ensure your dog is socially suitable for our day care centre, we offer a free trial stay at Winston’s. Dog owners must complete a pre-stay registration form and dogs must meet our conditions of acceptance.

Our Promise

All dogs who attend Winston’s Doggy Daycare benefit from supervised, social interaction with other dogs and lots of play time from our trained carers. They are free to play and have fun all day and relax, nap and have some quiet time in our specially created quiet zone.
